Rocking Chair in front of Fireplace

Combining traditional English clockmaking of exacting standards, with artistry and flair, is the principle aim of the Kibworth Clock Company. With clocks designed and made to last for generations to come they not only tell the time but the story of the highest standards in craftsmanship, the bench mark of the company.

Without offering any compromise, the quality in the selection of materials available throughout the whole clock, movement, dial and case alike can offer the traditional and modern home owner a glimpse and feeling of times past, a steadying influence, calming, reassuring and relaxing – man and machine in harmony.

The clock, a solid six pillar fusee movement of eight day duration with delicately crossed out five spoke wheels and baluster centre wheel arbor is designed and made to be seen working, visible through the glass panels in the sides of the case. The Brocot escapement, selected for its potential to be either mounted between the clock plates or visible through the dial, will give a good time-keeping performance and fascination to all who watch its action.

The dial can be made to suit individual requirements with a traditional or contemporary style that is in keeping with the case and timber selected. We offer three designs of case, each type complimented by the use of English timbers like ash, sycamore, beech, cherry that is ebonised, and walnut. We can also offer hand-painted and lacquered cases upon request.

We consider customer satisfaction to be the priority in all circumstances regarding our clocks. As dedicated and committed to our business, development of new clock movements, dials and cases continues, our standards however, never change.

We look forward to being of service.
